Karin Rose is a 3rd year medical student from Geneva. She is 21 years old. She is from Thailand and Scotland and she lives in Geneva. She is doing an internship of four weeks in Bangalore with Madhyama Foundation under the supervision of Dr Dayaprasad G kulkarni.
She thinks education is essential for every one.
After her medical studies she would like to do something that will associate healthcare and education. She wants to work with professionals from different fields to find a solution to health problems which can be solved with the help of education. She is especially interested in education of women.

Besides her studies she plays waterpolo and dances. She is part of Geneva's girl waterpolo team, which takes part in tournaments all over Switzerland. She dances salsa and traditional African dance. Salsa is her passion. She shares it with other people by teaching it in a dance school, Salsavirus, in Geneva.
She is curious and likes understanding how things work in other places, getting to know the people from the city and learning from them. This internship will be an enriching experience which will give her a glimpse of what life and health system look like in Bangalore, and more widely in India. She will use those experience in her own life back in Geneva.
He is doing his third year of medical school at the University of Geneva, in Switzerland. He came in this association because he has to make a project called "community immersion" to achieve his bachelor. He wanted to radically change his environment, that is why he has chosen Bangalore to make his internship.
